ABOUT Jarmell Carson
Jarmell Carson better known to many as "Citoak" (Ka-Took), is a Cincinnati hip hop artist and voice actor who grew up in the neighborhood of Silverton.
After graduating highschool he joined the US Navy and served 4 years. 2 Mediterranean cruises, one North Atlantic cruise, and was also deployed during Operation Desert Storm.
Upon returning home from service he became a founding member of legendary underground group "The Watusi Tribe". They went on to win 3 CEA awards and shared stages with The Roots, The Last Poets, Talib Kweli, Killer Mike and more.
He is currently part of another successful group, Sons of Silverton. Who have toured and performed with Goodie Mob, Arrested Development, Kool Kieth, KRS-One, and others. They are currently working on their third studio release and continued touring.
He has also lent his voice to art displays during Blink, recorded commercials for MadTree Brewing, Flow Wrestling, and is part of the voice over cast for a new animated pilot/series called "P3TS".
